About the Grant

The Non-Domestic Microgen Grant (NDMG) offers financial support to install solar PV panels, helping you generate electricity on-site. This reduces electricity costs, enhances energy security, and promotes sustainability. The grant is available for systems up to 1000kWp, with a maximum funding of €162,600.

How to Apply

  1. Find a Registered SEAI Installer

    Choose a registered SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen (Solar PV) company and agree to a contract.


  2. Apply for the Grant

    Submit your application online and wait for your letter of offer.


  3. Apply to ESB Networks

    Your installer will apply for grid connection approval.


  4. Install the Solar PV System

    Once approved, your installer will complete the installation.


  5. Submit Evidence to SEAI

    Your installer will submit all necessary documentation to SEAI for grant processing.
